Goldfield was a mining town outside of Apache Junction, Arizona. It was established in 1893 when a vein of gold was discovered, but by 1898 the vein had run out and the miners abandoned the town. Goldfield is now a ghost town and popular tourist destination. This piece was created using acrylic paint on gessobord. It comes to you unmatted and unframed.
